Homemade Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • ¾ cup water

  • 3 tbsp vegetable or olive oil

Directions

    Make the dough

    1. Whisk flour and salt well until combined. Make a well in center and add water and oil. Mix until a dough forms (if dough is too wet, add 1 tbsp. of flour at a time). Knead for 5 minutes until dough is smooth.

    2. Let dough rest for 5 minutes.

    Cut and cook

    1. Cut dough into 10 equal portions. Roll out one at a time to desired thickness(cover remaining dough with damp Microfiber Towel).

    2. Cook one at a time on ungreased griddle until fully cooked on both sides (flip when top looks dry and bubbles form).

    3. Repeat process with remaining tortillas.
